About the role

The State of Georgia seeks an online Business Technology Adjunct Instructor to deliver theory and practical applications of business technology to post‑secondary students, following academic state standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course syllabi, instruction, and assessments for online business technology classes.
• Evaluate student progress, grade coursework promptly, and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with faculty to establish and assess student learning outcomes.
• Support recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts, and assist with program administration.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Education or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet accessibility accommodations.
• Credentialing that satisfies accrediting bodies for the assigned course.

Required skills

• IC3 certification.
• Microsoft Certified Application Specialist.
• Microsoft Office Specialist – Associate or Expert level.
• Proficiency with computers and job‑related software programs for online instruction.
