Business Process Project Manager – BPMN & SOP Specialist

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for an experienced Business Process Project Manager to lead transformation initiatives for a major North American public transit authority. The role focuses on documenting, modeling, and improving business processes using BPMN standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to capture As‑Is and To‑Be processes and create BPMN models.
• Lead workshops, develop system flow diagrams, organizational charts, and SOPs.
• Produce deliverables such as PowerPoint presentations, status reports, and comprehensive documentation packets.
• Analyze operational KPIs, recommend cost‑saving measures, and conduct risk assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in business process modeling and management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in creating SOPs and providing sample documentation when requested.

Required skills

• MS Visio (required)
• ARIS Designer/Architect (preferred)
• MS Office 2013+ (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• SharePoint 2010+ and MS Project 2010+
