Business Intelligence & Operations Intern (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Boston Celtics are seeking a motivated Business Intelligence & Operations Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This part‑time role offers hands‑on experience in data analysis, ticketing operations, and fan engagement within a professional sports organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL scripts to build Tableau Server data sources and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and validate Tableau visualizations that present data clearly for stakeholders.
• Conduct data accuracy audits in the CRM system and perform day‑to‑day data maintenance.
• Update and analyze leads within the email marketing database.
• Tag and categorize social media posts for analytics purposes.
• Support Ticket Operations on Archtics projects, including pricing structures, data maintenance, financial monitoring, and third‑party integrations.
• Process and report ticket donations for the Shamrock Dreams program.
• Field inbound fan ticket questions, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist at the TD Garden Box Office during home games.
• Research and present best practices in sports business analytics and operations.
