Business Insurance Client Manager

About the role

Marsh Agency (MMA) is hiring a Business Insurance Client Manager for its Alpharetta, GA office. The role manages client relationships and supports new business and renewals, working closely with the Client Team and Producer. Applicants must live within driving distance of the Alpharetta office and be able to commute at least three days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain client relationships independently or with the Client Team, and proactively support strategy, proposals, meetings and special projects
• Prepare client presentations, including agendas and documents, and attend client meetings when requested
• Support account associates and mentor them, and help other Client Managers during high volume
• New business and renewals: gather renewal information, perform exposure analysis, compare premiums, rates and coverage, run non-admitted carrier due diligence, send submissions to market, generate fee agreements, present proposals, send bind orders and allocate renewal premiums
• General service support: order endorsements, audit reviews, basic contract review, and obtain signatures on supplemental applications, fee agreements and Acords

Required profile

• 3-5 years of prior experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree (RMIN, Finance, Accounting) is a plus
• Property Casualty license required; annual continuing education requirement
• Ability to manage a book of business through the annual cycle, including new business, customer service and renewals, and to handle smaller, less complex accounts

• Intermediate use of tools such as Reference Connect, Playbook and MMA U
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and advanced Excel
• Task leadership, prioritization and project management
