Business Insurance Client Advisor

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals. As a Client Advisor on the Business Insurance team, you will manage renewals, give insurance advice and maintain client retention while working alongside a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the renewal process and provide insurance advice on technical aspects and service support of new and renewal business
• Maintain client retention of existing accounts
• Communicate with internal and external clients
• Use the Sagitta Agency Management System and document management system
• Mentor associates and solve problems, including abstract reasoning
• Manage client accounts receivables and payables

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active and current Florida 2-20 insurance license
• 5 years of account management experience within an insurance agency
• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Thorough knowledge of insurance terminology and products and their usage

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent customer service skills and clear verbal and written communication
• Time management and organization

A Bachelor's degree, experience with Sagitta and/or ImageRight, and a supervisory background are listed as a plus but not required.
