Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the role

SafetyKit is seeking a Business Development Representative to be the front line of its go‑to‑market motion, bridging emerging product usage with the enterprise sales pipeline. You will identify high‑potential buyers, understand their challenges, and turn qualified leads into opportunities for the Account Executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified pipeline through high‑volume outbound prospecting (cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn, events, multi‑channel sequences).
• Research target accounts, map stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Leadership, and conduct discovery conversations.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies, hand off opportunities cleanly, and stay looped in as deals progress.
• Hit and exceed weekly activity targets and monthly qualified meeting goals while bringing market intelligence back to the team.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a sales, customer‑facing, or business development role; SaaS or fraud‑tooling experience is a strong plus.
• Relentless self‑starter with thick skin, data‑driven mindset, and ability to bounce back from rejection.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex products simply.
• Curiosity about AI and a desire to grow into an Account Executive role.
