Bulgarian Content Manager

About the role

North Star Network is seeking a Bulgarian Content Manager to plan, produce, and optimise high‑quality content for its Eastern European markets. You will execute the editorial roadmap, align content with SEO priorities and business goals, and collaborate with SEO specialists, editors, writers and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, plan and manage content production according to the editorial calendar and SEO priorities.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new content opportunities.
• Produce detailed content briefs with target keywords, structure and tone of voice.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of content production, from ideation to publication, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
• Regularly update and optimise existing content to improve SEO rankings and user experience.
• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with writers, editors and designers to ensure consistency, accuracy and editorial quality.
• Support localisation or adaptation of content for different Eastern European markets when needed.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in digital content management, editorial roles or SEO content strategy.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content performance metrics.
• Excellent writing, editing and organisational skills.
• Fluent in Bulgarian and English; knowledge of other Eastern European languages (e.g., Czech, Polish) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar.
