Brand Educator - Charlottesville, VA

About the role

MKTG is seeking enthusiastic Brand Educators to represent Diageo brands at consumer events in Charlottesville. You will engage shoppers, provide product knowledge, and help drive brand awareness during short, scheduled events.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with consumers at the point of purchase, offering sampling where legal and guiding them through a brand experience.
• Complete digital training and pass brand knowledge exams, then deliver a 2‑3 minute presentation at events.
• Handle promotional materials, collect event data, take photos, and submit post‑event reports.
• Follow responsible serving guidelines, manage company‑issued debit card purchases, and maintain proper appearance and uniform.

Required profile

• Outgoing, personable and able to translate brand information into relatable conversations.
• Reliable – arrive on time, stay until the event ends, and maintain a pleasant disposition under stress.
• Physically able to stand, walk for extended periods and carry trays or boxes.

Required skills

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Comfort with using digital platforms for training and reporting.
