Branch Manager – Banking Sales Leadership

About the role

Santander is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Jackson, NJ location. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience while driving sales, operational efficiency, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall branch performance, achieving sales targets and optimizing processes.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
• Coach, develop and motivate a team of banking professionals, handling hiring, scheduling and performance management.
• Manage risk, compliance and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of successful retail bank sales management or equivalent retail sales leadership experience.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and lead a high‑performing team.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and consultative skills.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Comfort using digital banking platforms and educating customers on self‑service options.
