Box Truck Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Box Truck Driver to operate a box truck on local and regional routes, delivering goods directly to customers’ homes or businesses. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading products while providing professional customer service, from simple drop‑off to white‑glove delivery with assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on assigned routes, complying with traffic laws, DOT regulations and company policies.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo up to 75 lb, ensuring it is protected from shifting or damage.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation, receipts, and inspection records.
• Communicate with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff regarding delivery status, delays, or route changes.
• Verify orders, freight condition, and delivery quantities before finalizing each delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area, and assist with warehouse or material‑handling duties as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license (REAL ID) with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience driving a box truck or in commercial delivery preferred.
• Ability to read maps, use navigation tools and maintain geographic awareness.
• Strong attention to detail, safety focus and ability to work independently.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.
• Ability to pass federal background checks for access to military and government facilities.
• Physical capability to lift and move items up to 75 lb and perform frequent entering/exiting of the vehicle.
