Logistics Technician I

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Logistics Technician I to support inventory control and shipping operations on the first shift at its Torrance, CA facility. The role involves handling material movement, inventory reconciliation, and coordinating with vendors to keep production schedules on track.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and put away material to staging locations.
• Perform inventory reconciliation (2‑Bin system) and cycle counts.
• Manage transactions for non‑conforming material.
• Prepare paperwork and ship items for outside processing.
• Expedite machining and processing through vendors.
• Schedule courier pickups and deliveries.
• Process inbound and outbound material and investigate aging work‑in‑process.
• Direct production truck driver activities and assist with dispatch tasks.
• Support inventory discrepancy resolution and stock adjustments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) with ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• 3+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience, preferably in dispatch or logistics.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Proficiency with standard computer applications.
