Bowling Lanes Attendant

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is looking for a Bowling Lanes Attendant for its Sports and Recreation department. The role covers customer service, basic maintenance of bowling machines and lane preparation, on day and evening shifts from 11:00am to 11:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service, including food and beverage service and serving alcohol
• Troubleshoot bowling machines using basic mechanical skills
• Use the AMF Bowling System and point-of-sale computer systems (computer skills preferred)
• Anticipate guests' needs and keep daily records
• Clean lanes, machines and the work area daily and weekly, and prepare the area for guest service
• Help guests with bowling monitors, bowling balls, lanes and video games

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Past food and beverage experience preferred
• Excellent grammar and verbal skills, friendly and positive attitude, maturity and self-assurance
• Ability to follow written procedures, keep daily records and manage inventory
• Structured supervision provided; flexibility to work varied schedules adjusted daily
• Willingness to do heavy and light cleaning
