Bilingual Immigration Junior Paralegal (English-Spanish)

About the role
Join a fast‑growing New Jersey immigration law firm as a Junior Paralegal/Legal Assistant. You will support humanitarian immigration cases, working directly with clients in both English and Spanish to gather information and prepare legal documents.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and take client declarations for VAWA, T‑Visa, and U‑Visa cases
- Conduct research and gather factual information for case files
- Learn and apply the firm’s internal processes and workflows
- Communicate with clients, providing clear and empathetic updates
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members on case strategy
Required profile
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
- At least 6 months experience handling humanitarian immigration matters
- Experience taking declarations and drafting legal documents
- Strong written communication, grammar, and legal drafting skills
- High attention to detail and ability to learn new legal concepts quickly
Required skills
