Beverage Server

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is looking for a Beverage Server (Beverage Entertainer) within its Food and Beverage department. This is a seasonal position on mostly day shifts, with some evenings, and the candidate is expected to uphold the hotel's vision and its 12 values.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service for food and beverage set-ups and anticipate guests' needs
• Serve guests continuously while performing many duties, keeping the area of responsibility clean
• Exceed guests' expectations and be responsible for a bank of $300+ and the cash flow during the day
• Prepare daily for guests' service, do heavy and light cleaning daily and weekly, and place daily and weekly orders
• Work as part of a team and step in for another server when needed

Required profile

• Food and beverage experience required
• Customer service experience required
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; some college preferred
• Excellent grammar and verbal skills, friendly and outgoing personality, mature and self-assured
• Great organizational skills and flexibility to work schedules that may change daily
