About the role

Loews Hotels & Co, a leading owner and operator of luxury hotels in the United States, is hiring a Bell Services Dispatch team member. The role supports the Guest Services team by running the dispatch desk, coordinating luggage assistance and storage, and monitoring lobby activity so guests arrive, check in and depart efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and assistance to Guest Services team members.
• Operate the dispatch desk and keep all records neat and organized.
• Expedites and monitors lobby activities to ensure efficient arrival, rooming and departure of hotel guests.
• Coordinates and oversees timely and professional luggage assistance and storage.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or a relevant industry is required.
• Experience with dispatching, scheduling or team coordination is preferred; bell services experience is also preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, spoken and written, with team members, leaders and guests.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, push and pull 75+ pounds as needed, and to work outdoors for long periods.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn Property Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Opera, HOTSOS and Alliant is preferred.
