About the role

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is hiring a Bell Person for its award-winning hotel at the Universal Orlando Resort. The role handles guest luggage and baggage and provides guests with accurate information about rooms, amenities and hotel facilities. The position requires working a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all luggage, baggage and packages carefully and safely.
• Be completely familiar with all room types, room amenities and hotel facilities, and provide this information to guests.
• Prioritize multiple tasks, show a sense of urgency and be detail oriented.

Required profile

• Previous experience with bell services preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, spoken and written, with team members, leaders and guests.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, push and pull more than 75 pounds repeatedly during a shift, and to withstand outdoor elements for long periods.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn Property Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Opera, HOTSOS and Alliant is preferred.
