Behavior Technician - In-Home ABA Therapy

About the role

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is looking for Behavior Technicians in Moreno Valley to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in clients' homes. The work supports children with autism and developmental disabilities, helping them build communication, social, behavioral and daily living skills. Sessions are 2-5 hours long, mostly with children aged 3-17, on afternoon and evening schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help and daily living skills
• Reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
• Work with supervising clinicians and communicate professionally with families and caregivers
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
• At least 15 hours per week available, between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current auto insurance and registration
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home for sessions
• Experience working with children is a plus but not required
