BCaBA – Behavioral Health Specialist

About the role

Join BAYADA’s ABA center in Wailuku, HI as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to deliver compassionate, evidence‑based behavioral health services to clients across the island.

Key responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
• Conduct skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming.
• Collect, analyze, and graph client data to monitor progress.
• Assist with functional behavior assessments and treatment plan implementation.
• Provide caregiver training under BCBA supervision.
• Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), including competency assessments and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, educators, and caregivers.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in line with BACB Ethics Code and company policies.

Required profile

• Current BCaBA certification and a bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
• Experience in behavior analysis with strong professional references.
• Must obtain a Hawaii state license in behavior analysis prior to start date.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.

• Behavior analysis techniques, including data collection, graphing, and functional assessments.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with technology for documentation and data management.
