About the role

Join the bar team at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites San Mateo and deliver friendly, courteous service to guests. You will prepare and serve drinks and food while maintaining high guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Maintain clean and organized bar areas, slice and pit fruit for garnishes.
Check identification, prepare and serve beverage and food orders, and handle payment processing.
Manage intoxicated guests according to standards and complete side work before shift end.
Assist with beverage inventory, requisitions, and sustainability practices.

Required profile

High school diploma preferred; TIPS certification a plus.
Previous bartending or mixology experience required.
Food sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment.
