Barista - 4th Street

About the role

Peet's, a coffee and tea retailer founded in 1966, is looking for passionate Baristas for its 4th Street location. Baristas deliver quality and service, engage customers, represent the Peet's brand and keep the daily coffee-bar running.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with them throughout their store experience
• Determine customer needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge
• Serve customers promptly, putting them first
• Prepare drinks and brew coffee and tea consistently
• Take part in training on new and promotional products and keep expanding product knowledge
• Keep the store clean and well-stocked

Required profile

• Friendly, energetic and personable, with a customer-first attitude
• Strong focus on quality and interest in learning more about coffee
• Reliable and punctual
• Enjoys teamwork and building good relationships with coworkers
• Able to work quickly, multi-task, learn new information and act on feedback
• Able to perform various physical tasks during a shift

What we offer

• Starting pay of $14.00 to $20.00 plus $3.00 to $6.00 per hour in cash and electronic tips
