Breakfast Attendant (Part-Time)

About the role

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Huntsville is hiring a part-time Breakfast Attendant in Huntsville, TX. The attendant prepares the breakfast bar for hotel guests while greeting and serving them in a friendly manner consistent with brand and hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry food, dishes, trays or silverware from the pantry to serving counters
• Set up food displays and keep the area clean and safe
• Wipe tables or seats, scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry them to the kitchen
• Clean up spills, broken dishes and trash, and keep supplies of clean glassware, dishes and trays
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers, stock condiments and refill containers
• Provide items guests request and keep counters, shelves and equipment clean and polished
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practice safe work habits
• Work toward higher guest satisfaction scores and perform other duties asked by management

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food sanitation certification is a plus and required within 90 days of employment
• Previous food and beverage experience preferred or equivalent training
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, lift up to 25 pounds and bend or reach
