About the role

Peet's, a coffee and tea retailer founded in 1966, is hiring Baristas for its 1400 Mission store in San Francisco. Baristas deliver quality coffee and tea, engage customers and keep the daily coffee-bar running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with them throughout their store experience
• Determine customer needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge
• Serve customers promptly, putting them first
• Prepare drinks and brew coffee and tea consistently
• Take part in training on new and promotional products and keep expanding product knowledge
• Keep the store clean and well-stocked

Required profile

• Friendly, energetic and personable, with a customer-first attitude
• Strong focus on quality and interest in learning more about coffee
• Reliable and punctual
• Enjoys teamwork and building good relationships with coworkers
• Able to work quickly, multi-task, learn new information and adapt to feedback
• Able to perform various physical tasks during a shift

What we offer

• Starting pay of $14.00 to $20.00 plus $3.00 to $6.00 per hour in cash and electronic tips
