About the role
The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is hiring a Baker Sous Chef for its bake shop. The role provides leadership and direction in the bake shop while production continues, and covers guest interaction, ordering, cleaning and clerical duties.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction in the bake shop while completing production.
- Review the guarantee sheet and event orders to build a production list and adjust counts as needed.
- Inventory existing products in the shop and complete a food requisition form based on current stock and par levels.
- Inspect the kitchen for cleanliness, removing garbage and debris left overnight.
- Maintain production by delegating duties from the production list to station workers, monitoring work pace against business volume, and answering questions, assisting in production and demonstrating or reviewing techniques and recipes.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
- Must meet the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees.
