Babies Room Leader (1‑Year‑Old)

About the role

The 1 Year Old Room Leader works Saturdays from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm, reporting to the JKids Nursery Director. The role supports JKids' mission to empower all kids to experience life in Jesus by providing a safe, nurturing environment for toddlers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of children in your care.
• Act as a positive role model, treating each child with dignity and respect.
• Engage children in age‑appropriate activities such as bible stories, crafts, worship songs, free play and games.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment, sanitizing toys, chairs, tables and floors after use.
• Report any concerns about child or parent behavior to the JKids Director.
• Greet parents, build trust and rapport with families.

Required profile

• Christ follower aligned with Jubilee Fellowship Church values.
• Previous experience with children preferred but not required.
• Flexible availability for weekend and holiday shifts with good attendance.
• Ability to lift, hold and carry up to 30 lb.
• Capability to handle stressful situations appropriately.
• Passion for caring for children and promoting Jubilee’s values of love, excellence and hard work.
