Avionics Hardware Engineer, Senior/Staff

About the role

We are seeking experienced Avionics Hardware Engineers to lead high‑speed digital design, flight computer architecture, and advanced avionics hardware development. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of complex embedded hardware for mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop board‑level electrical hardware, including schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, component selection, and interface definition.
• Own high‑speed digital and embedded flight computer architectures, perform board bring‑up, validation, debugging, and root‑cause analysis in the lab.
• Drive signal integrity, power integrity, and hardware reliability throughout the design lifecycle while collaborating with software, test, and manufacturing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field with strong experience in complex digital or mixed‑signal hardware design.
• Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and PCB design tools (Altium preferred).
• Familiarity with aerospace or other high‑reliability hardware environments and interfaces such as Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, PCIe, DDR.
