Automotive Product Trainer – New Orleans & Baton Rouge

About the role

We are looking for an Automotive Product Trainer to support a territory covering New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The trainer will deliver engaging product training, coach sales consultants, and help dealerships improve performance by mastering vehicle features and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑dealership training sessions on vehicle features, technology, trim differences, trailering, light‑duty truck fundamentals, and infotainment systems.
• Facilitate both small‑group and large‑audience sessions with energy, clarity, and credibility.
• Provide hands‑on coaching to sales consultants, observe sales interactions, and deliver actionable feedback.
• Develop and maintain a training schedule aligned with dealership needs and regional priorities.
• Support urgent requests, special assignments, and dealership events.
• Lead product launch events, introduce new features and technologies, and deliver competitive overviews.
• Submit schedules, rosters, activity reports, and expense reports accurately and on time.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of automotive retail or related experience.
• Strong understanding of vehicle technology, light‑truck fundamentals, trailering, and infotainment systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 80 % of the time and reside within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• General computer literacy.
