Automotive Customer Case Coordinator

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring Automotive Customer Case Coordinators for its Bedford, Texas office. The role coordinates buyback vehicle activities and reimbursement activities on behalf of clients, communicating with customers, financial institutions, attorneys and auto dealership personnel. The position is based in the office at 2200 Highway 121, Suite 250, Bedford, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate remarketing or reimbursement processes for vehicle buybacks or recall-related activity, including mailing, calling, emailing and faxing the parties needed to complete required tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service and de-escalate parties with prolonged process issues
• Liaise between manufacturers, dealers and third parties, and build and maintain client and third-party relationships
• Handle administrative tasks and data entry, and update customer database systems with owner or vehicle record changes, diary notes and workflow case updates
• Escalate customer, dealer or third-party issues to the manager as appropriate and ensure quality on all phone calls
• Multi-task with phone and computer, adhere to company policies and manage time and attendance
• Become proficient in the company's case management systems

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred or some college coursework completed
• Preferred: 2+ years of customer service experience
• Type 40+ WPM and successful results on data entry and customer service assessment
• Background verification requirements

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Strong verbal communication and phone de-escalation skills
• Ability to draft written communication
