About the role

The Audit & Reimbursement II position supports the HUB unit of the appeals team, reviewing and processing appeal mail intake. The role is primarily virtual with occasional in‑person training, offering flexibility while ensuring essential onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process appeal mail intake, maintaining accurate logs and case files.
• Assist higher‑level auditors on field work and appeals, including position papers and jurisdictional reviews.
• Analyze data, make recommendations for change, and participate in team and staff meetings.
• Maintain continuing education requirements and follow federal audit procedures.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Ability to respond timely to customer inquiries and multitask effectively.
• Residency in the United States for at least three of the past five years.
