Audit Intern – Summer 2028 – Salt Lake City

About the role

As an Audit Intern for PwC in Salt Lake City, you will join the Assurance practice for the Summer 2028 term. The position offers a hands‑on learning environment where you will observe and support financial statement audits, gaining insight into audit methodology, regulatory compliance and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures, findings and workpapers in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles to audit tasks.
• Support the evaluation of internal controls and risk assessments.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Strong academic foundation and willingness to learn in a professional environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
• Basic data‑analysis abilities.
