About the role
The Episcopal Athletic Training Program provides evidence‑based healthcare and wellness to student‑athletes. The Certified Athletic Trainer works with team physicians to deliver high‑quality care.
Key responsibilities
- Treat physical, emotional and psychological medical needs of student‑athletes.
- Prevent, treat, and rehabilitate sports‑related injuries.
- Provide emergency care and on‑site treatment using the Field House facilities.
- Utilize equipment such as cold/hot soaking tubs, ultrasound therapy and electrical stimulation machines.
Required profile
- Certified Athletic Trainer with experience in school or collegiate athletics.
- Experience collaborating with physicians and coaching staff.
- Member of professional bodies such as NATA and state athletic trainer associations.
Required skills
- Proficiency in injury assessment, treatment planning and rehabilitation protocols.
- Ability to operate therapeutic equipment (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, hydrotherapy).
