Associate Project Manager

About the role

Atwell, LLC, a consulting, engineering and construction firm serving real estate and land development and energy markets, is hiring an Associate Project Manager. The Associate Project Manager meets client needs and achieves project profitability by representing Atwell in client communications, communicating with management and coordinating project teams and progress.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the project plan and help the Project Manager set timeframes, budgets, staffing and schedule
• Check work product against design, client requirements and performance standards
• Monitor project status and intervene when needed to protect project objectives
• Support marketing, follow up on proposals and build relationships with current and future clients
• Mentor team members, coordinate recruiting and appraise job results
• Maintain the project file and follow the Product Quality Manual
• Keep up with professional knowledge through workshops, publications and professional societies
• Meet chargeability and hours-worked targets

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Land Planning, Land Surveying or equivalent
• Professional license (PE, RLA, AICP, CPG, PS) desired
• 4 to 8 years of experience in civil engineering, environmental, land planning, survey or a related field
• Experience with private land development deadlines and expectations
• Experience designing residential and commercial land development projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with hydrology reports and mentoring others
