Associate Professor of Urology – Reproductive Medicine & Male Infertility

About the role

The Desai Sethi Urology Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks an Associate Professor of Urology with expertise in Reproductive Medicine and Male Infertility. This faculty position will lead the Reproductive Urology program, combining patient care, education, and research.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
• Provide comprehensive clinical care for reproductive and urological disorders, including male infertility and related surgical procedures.
• Supervise and mentor residents and fellows in inpatient, outpatient, and operating‑room settings.
• Participate in the University of Miami Medical Group clinical practice plan, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Engage in academic activities such as clinical research, publications, and program development within the institute.
• Lead the Reproductive Urology division, advancing clinical programs, research initiatives, and educational offerings.
• Provide inpatient consultations and participate in emergency on‑call rotations as assigned.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an approved Urology residency program.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Urology.
• License or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida.
• Fellowship training or extensive experience in Reproductive Medicine and Male Infertility.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
• Commitment to academic excellence and scholarly activity.
