Associate II, Electromechanical Technical Support

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate II to provide electromechanical technical support within its Engineering function. The role focuses on troubleshooting, testing, assembling, and maintaining electro‑mechanical systems to ensure high‑quality eye‑care products.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance tasks for electro‑mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot, test, assemble, rework, repair, and modify non‑conforming equipment.
• Install, calibrate, test, repair, and upgrade equipment, control panels, and facility infrastructure.
• Assist engineers in developing technical solutions and inspect equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to GxP regulations and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 8 years, Associate + 4 years, MS).
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• On‑site availability in Johns Creek, Georgia, with a 12‑hour night shift schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑aided‑design (CAD) software for modeling systems.
• Experience using diagnostic software and tools for equipment inspection.
