Technical and Engineering Services Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Technical and Engineering Services Manager to lead maintenance, reliability engineering, process control, project engineering, and inventory stores for our Performance Chemicals site in Savannah, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Develop and manage annual maintenance and capital investment budgets, identifying cost‑reduction and equipment‑availability opportunities.
• Direct preventive and predictive maintenance programs, using equipment data to improve strategies and reduce downtime.
• Prioritize and oversee capital and maintenance projects, ensuring safe execution, technical quality, and budget adherence.
• Partner with Operations and other site functions to coordinate maintenance activities, investigate failures, and manage technical changes.
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineers, planners, supervisors, and maintenance professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to lower costs and enhance asset performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance, reliability, and engineering within an industrial or chemical environment.
• At least 5 years of people‑leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading technical, engineering, maintenance, and project teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Maintenance and reliability engineering expertise.
• Experience with SAP or similar CMMS.
• Use of engineering design tools and condition‑monitoring technologies.
• Knowledge of reliability performance metrics.
