Technician III – Production Technical Operations

At Alcon, we are driven by meaningful work that helps people see brilliantly. As a Technician III – Production Technical Operations, you will support the manufacturing production team, driving efficient, high‑quality operations at our Johns Creek, Georgia facility.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot complex production equipment to maintain output and quality targets.
• Monitor production quality, identify defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage resources, review work orders, and maintain accurate production records for performance tracking.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with GxP standards and SOPs.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• Experience in a regulated (FDA, ISO) manufacturing environment adhering to GxP standards and SOPs.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills supporting automated production equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting production metrics.
• Experience using Maximo or similar systems for spare‑parts inventory management.
