Associate Director - Strategic Forecasting

About the role

The Associate Director, Strategic Forecasting will develop strategic forecasts for a portfolio of products and indications, interpret their implications, generate insights, and communicate them to support the marketing strategy. This role works closely with Market Research, Data Science, Payer Analytics and commercial stakeholders across Global and Regional Marketing, Market Access, and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Determine appropriate forecast modeling approaches, tools, and techniques for assigned assets.
• Partner with Marketing, Market Research, Data Science, and Payer Analytics to gather inputs for strategic forecasting.
• Develop and deliver forecasts and insights aligned with the company’s enterprise forecasting process.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts and communicate drivers to the business.
• Collaborate with Finance and commercial teams to align inputs, outputs, and insights for each forecasting cycle.
• Drive clear communication of the forecasting process, inputs, and insights across matrixed teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering complex analytical projects in pharma/biotech.
• Strong background in forecasting methodologies, scenario analysis, and business case development.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, matrixed teams and work independently.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Forecast modeling and scenario planning.
• Experience with market research data and large patient or physician databases.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical hypotheses.
