Associate Director of Corporate and External Engagement

About the role

The Baratta Center for Global Business Education at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business seeks an Associate Director to lead its corporate and external engagement strategy. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this senior professional will act as the operational backbone and external engine of the Center.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage corporate partnerships that support student programming, treks, seminars, and internships.
• Lead alumni engagement initiatives and expand the Center’s alumni network.
• Recruit, coordinate, and support Advisory Board members and related governance activities.
• Oversee Center operations, ensuring compliance, process discipline, and institutional coherence.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to craft strategic messaging and promotional materials.
• Partner with internal program staff to translate partner updates and alumni stories into impactful content.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate partnership development, alumni relations, or advisory board management, preferably in higher‑education or nonprofit settings.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to manage complex operational processes and institutional infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
