Associate Director, Agentic AI Business Solutions

About the role

Amgen is hiring an Associate Director for its Neural Nexus Agentic AI Business Solutions unit, a hands-on delivery role focused on turning business needs into operational GenAI capabilities. The Associate Director delivers prioritized Agentic AI solutions across design, development, implementation, rollout and training, partnering with commercial insights, CD&A, AI&D and technical teams. It is a flexible commuter position in Thousand Oaks, CA, with at least 2-3 days a week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop delivery plans for assigned Agentic AI use cases and turn commercial requirements into clear delivery objectives and working plans.
• Lead end-to-end execution of Agentic AI solutions, including agile development with AI/ML and engineering teams, and coordinate readiness activities such as UAT, access setup, integration and documentation.
• Act as a liaison between technical delivery teams and business users, troubleshooting blockers and keeping delivery on track.
• Provide status updates and delivery dashboards, and communicate the implications of AI outputs and scope changes to business partners.
• Coordinate training, office hours and enablement resources, and track adoption metrics and user feedback with change enablement and analytics teams.
• Support change management, feedback loops and continuous improvement of delivery processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Basic qualification: doctorate with 3 years, master's with 5 years, bachelor's with 7 years, associate's with 12 years, or high school diploma with 14 years of commercial analytics, sales planning and insights and/or operationalizing GenAI solutions experience.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, direct experience with Commercial or Data Analytics teams, and a background delivering complex AI/ML initiatives such as GenAI agents or copilots.
• Ability to coordinate across technical and business teams, deploy and train business teams on new digital tools, and work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
