Associate AI Engineer

About the role

The Associate AI Engineer will design, develop and implement AI systems and data pipelines that automate university operations across multiple departments. This role focuses on transforming manual processes into AI‑driven solutions while improving efficiency, accuracy and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI solutions for service‑desk automation, administrative task processing and QA testing.
• Build and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, cloud services and data‑warehousing platforms.
• Develop, fine‑tune and monitor machine‑learning models, including large language models, for university‑specific use cases.
• Integrate AI systems with existing university infrastructure (identity management, ticketing, knowledge bases) and follow MLOps best practices for production deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably in enterprise or higher‑education environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure AI architectures and to work with cross‑functional teams.
