Associate Account Manager – Sports

About the role

The Associate Account Manager role is an entry‑level sales position at BDA, focused on the sports industry. You will support a high‑performing sales team, manage client projects, and develop the skills needed to advance into full account management.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales on account planning, create client presentations, and prospect new buyers.
• Coordinate client‑facing projects such as pop‑up events, handling timelines, costs, logistics, and approvals.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records in Salesforce, support quoting and order status updates.
• Gain deep knowledge of branded merchandise, supplier mix, pricing, and attend industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales support, marketing, branded merchandise or a similar agency environment.
• Direct experience working for a sports team in sales, marketing or branding.
• Strong communication, detail‑orientation, and a client‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Salesforce (preferred).
