About the role

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith is seeking an Assistant to the Dean for its College of Business and Industry. This professional staff position supports the Dean in daily administrative functions and contributes to the college’s mission of delivering hands‑on learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistance to the Dean, including calendar management and correspondence.
• Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for the Dean and college stakeholders.
• Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and budgetary documents.
• Serve as a liaison between the Dean’s office and faculty, staff, and external partners.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience in higher‑education administration preferred.
