Part‑Time Assistant Baseball Coach

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith seeks a motivated Part‑Time Assistant Baseball Coach to support the varsity baseball program. This position works closely with the head coach to develop student‑athletes, manage daily operations, and promote a competitive, academically focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices and games.
• Provide individualized skill development and conditioning for players.
• Support recruiting efforts and maintain compliance with NCAA regulations.
• Help with game strategy, scouting, and statistical analysis.
• Coordinate travel logistics, equipment management, and academic monitoring for athletes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in baseball coaching at the high school, collegiate, or club level.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor student‑athletes.
• Commitment to the university’s mission of academic and athletic excellence.
