Assistant Superintendent – Construction Projects

About the role

Alston Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the onsite management of construction projects in Sacramento. You will work closely with senior project managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Use discretion, independent judgment, and professional skills to perform daily duties and resolve field operations issues.
• Plan, schedule, oversee, and manage onsite activities to meet project goals and timelines.
• Identify and proactively resolve field problems, issues, and conflicts to prevent delays.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, coordinating work execution and quality control.

Required profile

• Experience in construction site supervision or related field operations.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems quickly.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
