Assistant Superintendent – Commercial Construction

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on a variety of commercial construction projects in the Dallas area. You will work closely with experienced Superintendents, gaining exposure from pre‑construction through project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with day‑to‑day jobsite operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and overall project logistics.
• Help maintain project schedules and track field progress.
• Monitor quality control to ensure work complies with plans and specifications.
• Support jobsite safety initiatives and enforce safety standards.
• Participate in subcontractor meetings and coordination activities.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Assist with punch‑list creation and project close‑out tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience on ground‑up, renovation, or tenant‑improvement projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Understanding of construction scheduling and field coordination.
• Stable work history with a desire for long‑term growth.
• Proficiency with construction software is a plus.
