About the role

The Assistant Studio Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the South Boston location, ensuring smooth studio performance, exceptional member experience, and a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing front‑desk staff while fostering a collaborative culture.
• Manage retail operations, including merchandise handling, Shopify order processing, and inventory control.
• Oversee payroll for front‑desk staff, audit bi‑weekly, and support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑equipped facility, handling equipment diagnostics and cleaning schedules.
• Track studio metrics, prepare performance reports, and help identify profitability improvements.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
• Ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a fast‑paced fitness environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
