Assistant Stormwater Response Manager

About the role

Join Apex Companies as an Assistant Stormwater Response Manager and support national commercial clients with stormwater‑related challenges. This remote position offers the chance to work with a fast‑growing environmental consulting firm while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Address and manage stormwater requests from commercial clients.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet client expectations.
• Conduct initial assessments, identify solutions, estimate costs, schedule work, and oversee project completion.
• Prepare post‑construction reporting for stormwater repair projects.
• Interact with online databases and reporting systems.
• Estimate minor rapid‑response stormwater efforts.
• Perform occasional weekend work as needed.

Required profile

• B.S. degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in the stormwater or environmental consulting field.
• Strong understanding of stormwater systems and best management practices (BMPs).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain composed under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
