Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Circle K is looking for an Assistant Manager for its station store in Scio, Ohio (store 4705295). The position offers flexible schedules including days, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends, and pays weekly. The Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing station store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with oversight of station store operations
• Help with hiring, supervise staff and help them complete daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising
• Maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly customer service
• Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
• Lead a team, delegate and follow up, teach and motivate others, and plan and organize
• Handle cash and keep accurate books, solve problems and advocate for customers

Required profile

• Retail experience
• Supervisor or management experience
• Recruiting, interviewing and hiring skills
• Experience handling food
• High school or college degree
• Ability to stand or walk up to 8 hours, lift up to 30 pounds overhead and occasionally up to 60 pounds, push or pull up to 20 pounds, bend and twist, and climb ladders or handle signs
