Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology (Generalist)

About the role

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of Miami seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical to join the OB/GYN Generalist Division. The incumbent will serve as an attending physician, providing comprehensive obstetric care across multiple campus hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care at UM Kendall Medical Center, Jackson Memorial Hospital and affiliated sites.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in OB/GYN.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans addressing biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors.
• Perform patient assessments, prescribe medications, and document care in compliance with university and regulatory policies.
• Report quality‑assurance incidents, hazardous conditions, and equipment issues.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all institutional policies.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Medical licensure to practice in Florida.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and continuous professional development.
