About the role

The University of Miami Health System seeks an Assistant Professor on the clinical educator track to deliver high‑quality care to patients with endocrine disorders and to contribute to the academic mission of the department.

Key responsibilities

Provide outpatient and inpatient endocrinology services at the University of Miami Health System and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Teach and mentor Endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students.
Supervise assigned mid‑level medical staff and nursing clinical personnel.

Required profile

MD degree with ACGME‑accredited Internal Medicine internship and residency.
Completed a three‑year ACGME‑accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
Board certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility prior to credentialing).
Valid DEA license, ACLS and BLS certifications.
