About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation as an Assistant Nurse Manager on the inpatient pediatric rehab unit. This night‑shift position provides clinical supervision, unit coordination, and direct patient care for children and young adults with complex rehabilitation needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations, ensuring quality patient care.
• Prepare work schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Interview, select, orient, and evaluate caregivers, handling performance and attendance issues.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among unit staff and other departments.
• Participate in quality‑improvement projects, outcomes studies, and research initiatives.
• Assume Nurse Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a BSN.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year of hire.
• At least two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
